This training looks at the professionals within their roles in order to address the internal and/or external traumas impacting their personal and professional lives. These individuals are guided through the process of identifying their traumas that may be hindering their abilities to comfortably connect with those they serve during a crisis. The purpose of this certificate is to assess, educate, implement, and support each professional serving the organization they work with and their clientele. This understanding one's trauma through the internal and external perspective allows individuals to heighten their personal responsibility to themselves first by grasping how cultures, upbringing, etc. affect one’s processing and healing approach.

Lisseth London, holds an MSW and a PhD in International Psychology. As a CEO and Founder of Lisseth London Global Consulting, LLC, Dr. London is a bilingual international trauma specialist and human rights activist with a mission to building stronger organizations and communities through a trauma-informed /focused education, awareness, and advocacy globally. LLGC was birthed out of a dream that partnered with Dr. London’s passion and experience in the human services field to provide support to individuals and organizations facing both internal and external crises often derived from some form trauma. While Dr. London specializes in working with BIPOC groups with a strong emphasis on Cultural Competency, her Trauma-Informed/Focused approach is inclusive to ALL ethnicities and backgrounds. Dr. London’s goal are simple, “fill in the gaps,” by developing and sustaining Trauma-Informed/Focused environment(s).
